Members of the Catesby team took part in the Carbon Literacy Project delivered by Groundwork East this month, as part of the L&D training sessions organised by our parent company Urban&Civic.

Carbon Literacy: “An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

This full day of training in small groups brought about lively discussions and a range of team activities, ending with the writing of pledges to improve the carbon literacy and footprint of Catesby Estates and Urban&Civic as a whole.

Today, over 27,847 individuals from over 2,212 organisations have become Carbon Literate - have you?  It is our aim to have all Catesby Estate employees trained by the end of 2022.
