2017 has been a busy year again at Catesby Estates plc, and as the year draws to a close we are working on 62 sites, 1,674 acres and 9,067 house plots.

As some of you may have already noticed our new branding has been rolled out better reflecting the business model and more clearly aligning us with Urban&Civic plc.  Our new look website will be launched early in the New Year.

In recent months we have had planning permission granted for 63 houses on a 9.1 acre greenfield site in Battle, along with the Vale of White Horse District Council resolving to grant outline planning permission for 200 homes on a 15 acre site in Abingdon.

Work onsite for 735 homes at Myton Green, Warwick which has outline planning consent is gathering pace.  Catesby Estates have worked in partnership with the landowners Europa Way Consortium, to look at ways of maximising land value by the creation of serviced land parcels through the provision of infrastructure, whilst also developing a site that is sensitive to the area in which it sits.

A spring 2018 start is scheduled with works including a tree-lined community spine road, and the creation of an extensive green corridor adjacent to Myton Brook incorporating play areas, footpaths and cycleways.  Serviced land parcels will be disposed of during 2018, with first homes ready for occupation early 2019.

Moving into 2018, we will be waiting on a decision from the Court of Appeal for consent for 790 homes across 2 sites which has been delayed by the decision of third parties to judicially review the planning consents received.

In Central Bedfordshire, we will be bringing forward a site through the Local Plan process for circa 2,000 dwellings in an area of identified high housing need.

As always we are looking for new sites, so if you think your land may have development potential please get in touch; 01926 836910 / info@catesbyestates.co.uk
