First Point Business Park


A large scale business park of 120 acres less than 1 mile from Junction 3 of the M18 the site was purchased in the late 1990s as bare land.  Catesby, with the assistance of Objective One grant funding, has overseen an extensive investment in site infrastructure including roads, drainage, electricity, gas and water which has enabled the Group to build 110,000 sq ft of offices and close to 1mn sq ft of distribution space on the site.  In addition, serviced land parcels have been made available to enable the delivery of a B&Q warehouse, Holiday Inn Express, pub / restaurant, petrol filling station and car dealership.  The site was one of the first in the country to use large scale sustainable urban drainage systems and has played a key role in delivering employment space which has allowed Doncaster’s economy to adjust following the demise of the coal mining industry.
