Resolution to Grant Outline Planning Consent at Balsall Common
Solihull MBC have granted a resolution to grant outline planning consent for Catesby’s two planning applications at Balsall Common.
The applications we submitted to Solihull MBC and registered on 18 November 2014.
The sites both on the Kenilworth Road, Balsall Common comprise of one application for up to 80 houses and one for up to 35 houses.
Catesby will now work with the council to sign the section 106 agreements.
Both sites were removed from the greenbelt by Catesby in December 2013. The sites were in phase 3 of the local plan which released sites for development for 2023-2028.
Catesby were able to show that the council could not demonstrate a five year supply of housing land and therefore the site should be brought forward early.
