David joined the Catesby Property Group in January 2013, having spent 4 years as Head of Town Planning for Morston Assets Ltd. David has over 15 years’ experience in the property industry, having worked in house building, planning consultancy and property development.
During his time at Morston Assets David secured consent for over 2,000 residential plots nationwide, some 1m square feet of commercial floorspace and over 100,000 square feet of food retail floorspace. Prior to joining Morston Assets, David was Planning Manager at Castlemore, where he secured residential planning consents on high profile sites such as the former Aston Martin factory in Newport Pagnell. Other high profile projects that David has worked on include the redevelopment of the former Tricorn shopping centre in Portsmouth, the mixed use redevelopment of the Northfleet West substation site in Ebbsfleet and the creation of a new village on the former Manuel Brickworks site in Whitecross, Linlithgow.
David began his career as a Land Manager for Cala Homes in the south east, bringing a commercial focus to the planning process, with particular skills in negotiating viable and effective planning permissions.
