Grant joined Catesby Estates in April 2014 with over 12 years’ planning experience in the public and private sectors.

Grant can advise on all aspects of the planning process and has extensive experience in leading large, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver timely and cost-effective planning permissions.

He has been responsible for securing planning permission at local level for 55 homes in Alfold, 70 homes in Wilstead and 65 in Stadhampton, both via the appeal process.

Most recently he has worked on securing permission for 200 homes in Abingdon-on-Thames, through removal of the land from the Green Belt and allocation in the Local Plan.  He is also leading the planning input for delivery of site wide infrastructure and landscaping for 735 homes at Myton Green, Off Europa Way in Warwick.

Prior to joining Catesby Estates he worked for Birmingham City Council, before moving to Barton Willmore advising a range of housebuilder and developer clients. 

Grant has experience of the appeal process and has been involved in a number of planning inquiries, including acting as expert witness. Grant is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
