Catesby Estates plc have successfully completed the sale of a residential development site in Alfold, Surrey to CALA Homes (South Home Counties) Ltd.

Outline planning consent was granted in April 2016, by Waverley Borough Council.

The 6.5 acre site located off Loxwood Road in the village of Alford has consent for up to 55 new homes with 40% affordable housing provision.

In recommending the application for approval, Officers accepted that the Council could not demonstrate a five year supply of housing land, and the development would be sustainable, delivering a number of benefits for Alfold village and the wider area with additional public open space and children’s play area.
