On Sunday 29th July, Catesby Estates’ Land & Development Director, Myron Osborne took part in the Pru-Ride 100 for Diabetes UK, raising nearly £2,000 (including gift aid).

Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 started in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then followed a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside, before finishing on The Mall in central London.

After an amazing summer, riders couldn’t have been more unlucky with the weather with torrential rain and wind, resulting in cyclists getting numerous punctures from the debris blown onto the route.

Myron’s total riding time was 5hrs 43m.  Due to delays on route with 3 punctures and a mechanical issue with his bike his official time was 7hrs 7m.
