Team Changes
Whilst the year saw changes within the existing senior management team with Myron Osborne moving to Chief Executive, and David Morris promoted to Planning and Operations Director, there were two further team promotions within the business.
Katie Yates was promoted to Associate Director, Marketing and Communications and Ed Barrett was promoted to Associate Director, Planning. Both are based at the Warwick office.
Katie joined the Catesby team in 2017 and is responsible for corporate communications and supporting the land & planning teams with site specific marketing requirements including supporter mobilisation.
Ed joined Catesby in 2016 and has extensive experience identifying the development potential of sites and preparing detailed planning evidence.
He is responsible for the day-to- day management of major multi- disciplinary planning projects.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to our latest team members; Jodie Brown who joined the team as Finance and Office Administrator at the end of September, and Tim Parfitt who joined in November as Senior Land Manager.
Jodie spent 14 years working for the family business and has a background in administration and accountancy and has qualifications in business administration and AAT levels 2 & 3.
Tim, prior to joining Catesby, spent 11 years with Dandara in land and development acquisitions.
OTHER NEWS
Europa Way Consortium Tour Myton Green Public Open Space
Members of the Catesby team had an enjoyable morning taking representatives from The Europa Way Consortium on a tour (observing social distancing of course!) around Myton Green in Warwick to view the public open space and infrastructure works we have been delivering.
Due to the size and complexity of the site, Catesby Estates were appointed by The Europa Way Consortium to deal with the Reserved Matters Application, and deliver the site infrastructure and public open space (POS) works which were required to bring forward residential development on the site.
The POS is due to be adopted by Warwick District Council, meaning the areas will then be open for use by local residents:
• 735 new homes
• 33% affordable housing
• 5 acres of educational land provided
• 25 acres of some of the largest and best equipped public open space in the district
• 6 equipped play areas including a multi-use games pitch with five-aside football and basketball court • 4,500 metres of cycleways and footpaths laid
• 800 metre long community spine road linking Europa Way with Gallows Hill due to open 2021
• 1,600 metres of overhead cables diverted underground
• 10,500 shrubs and hedgerows and 565 trees planted (including 250 specimen trees)
• 30 bat boxes, 20 bird boxes and 3 hedgehog dens installed
